About Us

uknowpia is still being developed, but when it does launch…

It will be the ideal place for “You know you’re…when…” lists.

We know you’ve read one of these lists before…in an e-mail or on a blog…in all different places.  So, for one, we wanted to have one consolidated place for these lists to be housed.  But more importantly, we want these lists to come to life and step it up to the next level.  Here’s what we mean…

Usually with these lists, someone creates them and they’re stagnant (not interactive).  Sometimes (if you’re lucky), you can make a comment at the end that includes an item that you would add, if you were able to add to the list.

Usually with these lists, if you add an item in the comment section, it is sometimes better than the original items in the list, but may never get its 15 minutes of fame because it’s buried at the bottom.

Usually with these lists, you have to sift through the not-so-good items to get to the funny ones.

With uknowpia, we will encourage you to add to the list to make it more complete and see how your item compares to the rest…so when that launch date comes, go ahead, add an item, and then watch it get bumped to the top, like that dearest sheep in the Sheep Launcher app.   We will encourage you to rate items within a list to help the better ones get center stage and to get the not-so-good ones to bow out.   Or, if you don’t see a list that already exists, you will then have a platform to create a list and share it with your friends, your family, your collegiate peers, the world.

Long story short, uknowpia will be a wonderful place that provides the tools for these “You know…when…” lists to come to life and helps provide you a laugh about things that are close (or not so close) to home.
